About The Event

From the speaker, Cam Werley-Gonzales:

"When you parent a gifted girl, flexibility becomes your mantra. What are the best creative educational options for your gifted girl in today’s media driven, highly sexualized culture? Gifted tween and teen girls often find themselves immersed in the dilemma of pursuing their intellectual passions while at the same time not knowing how to fit in. I have homeschooled (and unschooled and deschooled), hybrid-schooled and been both a teacher and an administrator in a traditional school setting. When your daughter is gifted, you may need to do all of the above and more to find the right school setting. Are you looking to be creative with your gifted girl’s schooling?! This SENGinar is for you! Join me for some virtual storytelling, exchanging ideas and fun conversation on Thursday March 21, 2019. "

ABOUT CAM WERLEY-GONZALES

Cam Werley-Gonzales’ professional passion is seeking creative methods to provide gifted students options to achieve their true potential; all while doing her part to repair the misconceptions the world has about gifted students. As a secondary school administrator, she has served in the past as Dean of Students and Asst. Head of School at Alverno Heights Academy. She is also the founder and creator of the Academy for Gifted Girls, a school-within-a-school housed at Alverno Heights Academy in Sierra Madre, CA. Most importantly, she is the proud mom of four gifted children.
