I am Stephanie Newitt, trained SENG MPG Facilitator and member of the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented. I have 10 years of experience advocating for gifted children at the local and state level. Inspired by my four children, I co-founded a local parent support group for parents of gifted children. Through this group I provided educational opportunities on giftedness and advocacy through classes and social media. I built relationships with district board members, educators and administrators. As a result of these organized grassroots efforts, my local school district now has Gifted Education vision and mission statements, a Gifted Coordinator, a Gifted Education Parent Council, an elementary self-contained gifted program, and a junior high gifted program.

I can educate, organize and build relationships that produce positive results. I know I can assist you in teaching parents about giftedness as well as coaching parents on the tools of positive advocacy on behalf of their gifted children.
