About The Event
Online teaching & learning has become not just a trend, but a necessity in this world. It affects the daily life of almost everyone, including all the teachers, students, and parents.
Naturally, it also created more challenges to teachers and parents of gifted students, especially those who are experiencing social & emotional development issues. While there are disadvantages, one undeniable advantage of online learning is, it can reduce or even eliminate certain stress and frustration that gifted students may encounter in a small, physical classroom at school.
This presentation will focus on how teachers (& parents) can create compelling and engaging online courses, not just for gifted students in their own classroom, but for a much broader audience – gifted students around the world. Teachers (& parents) will learn how to design and set up a course online, how to promote it, and how to reach out to people in need through social media presence. By creating such online courses, teachers (& parents) will be able to make a large impact, and at the same time, bring in a continuous, semi-passive income, either for their schools & districts, or for their individual companies.
