Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. SENG maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Other professional organizations often accept APA CE credits. SENG is a non-profit organization and does not receive any commercial support for offering courses and workshops
SENG’s Professional Development program provides affordable, accredited home-study courses, in-person & virtual workshops.
Whether you are a mental health professional, educator or a parent wanting to learn more, SENG can provide trainings to help. We have various events throughout the year that provide seat hours for educators and APA courses to help the mental health professionals continue their education. If you are an educator, we provide seat our certificates for many of our events. Please check with your HR department to see if they will honor our seat our certificates.
Full attendance is required for all CE activities. For live programming, this may include sign-in/sign-out sheets and/or room monitors. For live remote sessions, this may include use of attestations, LMS tracking mechanisms, chat check-ins, and/or on-camera/visual check-ins.

Home Studies
Earn credit from your home, work at your own pace and prepare to better serve the gifted community. The SENG Continuing Education Program may include watching videos, reading provided resources, or separately purchasing a book to read on your own time and then purchasing an examination from SENG. Upon passing the SENG-administered exam and completion of the post-exam course evaluation, Continuing Education (CE) Credits will be issued.

DOCUMENTING CE CREDITS

Successful completion of course is achieved by correctly obtaining 80% or higher on the exam.

Individuals who score lower than 80% on the first attempt may retake the exam.

Complete the post-exam course evaluation.

A printable CE certificate will be attached to confirmation of passing grade.
