About The Event

On a “typical” day, managing social emotional engagement, effective communication and emotion regulation can be challenging for gifted and twice exceptional people. During the pandemic, our resources are stretched, our resilience runs low and it’s tough to support ourselves, our children and our students who are struggling similarly. This webinar addresses why the gifted and 2e profiles are challenged in these areas and how empathy and kindness toward each other and ourselves, give us the tools we need to engage effectively and with gratification.

About the Presenter:

Founder of With Understanding Comes Calm, LLC, Julie Skolnick, M.A., J.D., passionately guides parents of gifted and distractible children, mentors 2e adults, trains educators and advises professionals on how to bring out the best and raise self-confidence in their 2e students and clients.
