About The Event

Emotional intensity is one of the hallmarks  of gifted individuals and these intense emotions often directly lead to intense, disruptive behaviors. This Webinar will provide background on the source of intense emotions, their connection to behavior, and techniques to manage this intersection.

Intense emotions are very challenging for gifted individuals to manage in order to meet their interpersonal, academic, and professional needs. They are also very disruptive to the people around the gifted individual: teachers, bosses, friends, and family. The more we understand these emotions, and their connection to disruptive behavior, the easier it becomes to support gifted individuals socially and emotionally, allowing for an easy return to functioning.
