About The Event
Sir Ken Robinson (Robinson K., 2011) says “Technology is in the state of a common relationship with the other elements of the universe much the same as in the other constituents of life. Life and universe keep on changing”. Similar to the Greek philosopher Heraclitus, “No man ever steps in the same river twice”. Our lives have changed with technology and now with corona, quarantine and forced homeschooling days. Gifted and talented children are more vulnerable and need to support on cyberbullying bullying prevention. This Senginar we will talk about staying safe on the internet and prevention of cyberbullying.
About the Presenter:
Nurseli Tamer graduated from the University of Istanbul, majoring in Economics and Business Administration. She started her career at American Express Bank Istanbul and worked in several local banks. After her daughter was born in 1998, she had a career change and describes herself as promoted to be a mother. She started online education which included various gifted education including SENG seminars, certification. She Mastered on Management of Education from Bahcesehir University in 2014. She has several articles on cyberbullying and delivers seminars/speeches. She believes in lifelong learning and sharing the same. For over a decade she voluntarily works with Moms of gifted as well as of cyberbullying prevention. Her motto is, “Educate Moms to educate the future”. She is at the Board of SENG Europe and a local NGO in child rights.
