SENG Community Group: Parents of 2e Children

As the school year approaches, parents of gifted twice exceptional learners return to advocating for their children's unique strengths, interests, and needs to be recognized and nurtured. This six-week parent group provides parent-to-parent support and encouragement as we celebrate joys and lift each other up during challenges.  Our hope is that connections will continue long after our time together.     

SENG-trained facilitators Cindy Hansen, Ed.D., ET/P and Lisa Jobe, JD, Certificate in 2e, are both specialists working with gifted/2e families who will provide thought-provoking resources and conversation starters through a strength-based lens.  Topics may include shifting the focus from deficits to strength-based learning; exploring multiple intelligences as entry points and talent development; providing the best physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and creative environments for our children to thrive; and strength-based IEPs.     

Our session will begin on Wednesday, August 7th from 10:30am -11:45am PT, and will meet virtually every week through September 11th.  Cost for the session is $120.  Space will be limited.
