Question Through Oneself

By Taylor Rose.

Question Through Oneself:

what am i waiting for?

to dare to dream.

to find a place of peace- of reverie.

to tame a token bestowed upon me. to break free of constraints

as life whirls around while I struggle to find my place.

and yet I know what i must behold so why do i continue to stand in my own way…

afraid of what may break or what I may make?

perception lapsing or falling into place. the moments come and the moments go, but I stand firm, afraid to roam. how can I expect my realities to change, until I use my power to find my own way?

nobody ever said power came free. sometimes with power is the need to just be. assess the conditions and move when you can- no reading or following the perfectly thought out plan.

then all of a sudden, finally- serendipitously the pieces are no longer incoherently fanned.

they dovetail and show you there was always a plan waiting in the wings for you to understand.

no more waiting to dare to dream. you needed to see that your power always was, and will continue to be.

Answer Through Oneself:

No more waiting to dare to dream. I needed to see that my power always was, and will continue to be.

Dovetailing, they show me there was always a plan waiting in the wings for me to understand.

Then all of a sudden, finally- serendipitously the pieces are no longer incoherently fanned.

I’ve assessed the conditions and have moved when I can- no reading or following what I thought was a perfectly thought out plan.

Nobody ever said power came free. Sometimes with power is the need to just be.

How could I expect my realities to change, without using my power to find my own way?

I was afraid to roam, standing firm as the moments would come and go.

Perception lapsing or falling into place.

I was afraid of what I may break or what I may make.

I knew what I must behold, and got out of my own way, as life whirled around while I struggled to find my place- to tame a token bestowed upon me as I broke free of constraints.

To find a place of peace- of reverie.

I dared to dream. I was waiting for me.
